What Is Most Important In Your Life
Have you ever wondered just what is your motivation and what you are supposed to be striving for in life? Is the act of setting up goals for financial gain or goals of personal success seemingly predetermined?
Sometimes people are not sure exactly what their goals are because they cannot break the surface of that conditioned way of thinking that they have been taught by society. So when they read in a motivational book to "set goals" on how much money they want to have, or how much happiness they want to gain then the first idea that pops into their heads is, unfortunately, not the most important item that they really want to go after.
You have 30 seconds! In the next thirty seconds you are about to discover your inner most dominating goals that you probably have not put much thought into actualizing. These goals will be the most important ones that you will want to accomplish at this time of your life.
Are you ready? Grab a piece of paper and a pen or pencil and get ready to write the very first items that come to your mind after I ask the next question:
"In 30 seconds or less, without thinking about it... What are the 3 most important goals in your life right now?"
What 3 things pop into your head immediately as the most important goals that you must have in your life this very moment? Don't think - just write - you only have 30 seconds!
This technique was taught by renowned author and motivational speaker Brian Tracy in is best selling audio CD collection called "The Psychology of Achievement". In it Mr. Tracy goes on to explain that everything you write down during this fast paced 'non thinking' moment of getting your immediate goals on paper will be the ones in which you need to make your first priorities in life.
You need to go to work immediately on setting up a plan and focusing on the results of your brainstorming session. Many people's answer to that question are goals in which they normally would not have written had they had to think about them.
Your next step is to do everything possible to bring yourself closer to achieving these goals. Action is the only answer. And remember, as Napoleon Hill says in the great book, "Think and Grow Rich"...
"Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, he can achieve!"
